What will you do?

As a Medior/Senior Linux Engineer you will work on managing, optimizing and securing Linux environments at our customers. You play a key role in challenging projects where you use your expertise to make infrastructures stable, scalable and future-proof. Often you can work hybrid, so that you find a good balance between office, customer location and home.

Your duties

• Manage and optimize Linux systems (e.g. RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Implement automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Troubleshoot and structurally resolve system and network problems.
• Advise clients on infrastructure architecture and security solutions.
• Set up and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Prometheus or ELK.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate systems.

This is what you bring

• Minimum 3 years experience (Medior) or 5+ years experience (Senior) in a Linux role.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and scripting (e.g. Bash, Python or Perl).
• Experience with virtualization and container technologies such as VMware, Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with network protocols, security and storage solutions.
• Problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
• Communication skills to make complex technical solutions clear.
