Rody Huibers comes in second, equal partner of Greater

Amsterdam, Dec. 20, 2022 - Founder Richard van der Meijde appoints Greaters Manager of Operations and also good friend Rody Huibers as co-owner of the organization. Together they are determined to further develop Greater into a great social IT company, where developing and connecting consultants and companies are key.

"Appointing Rody as an equal partner is the logical step he deserves," Van der Meijde said. Seven years ago, Huibers joined Greater as a true techie and started on his first assignment. Because of his experience and social skills, he knew how to introduce consultants to the right companies with precision. He soon expanded his own business unit to 25 people, and in 2019 he made the move to Manager of Operations. "He basically ran the whole operation and given his success, I foresaw that Rody would stand beside me as a partner," he said.

For his part, Huibers is grateful to Van der Meijde. "I felt appreciated from the beginning, saw more and more entrepreneurship in myself, and I wanted to prove that I could do it." He sees his time at Greater as the opportunity to build something bigger than himself and is determined to build a great, social company where everyone feels equally helped. "I was once given the opportunity to do this and I want to pass that on to others." Van der Meijde expresses that same appreciation toward Huibers: "Without you, Greater would not have become what it is today."

They see the partnership as promising. "Half a word is enough for us and we share the same optimistic mentality," says Van der Meijde. "Where we felt inhibited in the past, we now think big and encourage each other, really the 'Greater thinking.' We understand which way we want to go together." As equal partners, they know that no matter what happens, they must continue to care for each other. They also want to continue to radiate that care and readiness for others' development to the rest of the staff. "For us, that is the core of a successful partnership."

Greater is the IT company founded by techies, for techies. It focuses on services in the areas of Cloud, DevOps, SecOps and IT consulting. Greater s headquarters are located in Schiphol-Rijk.
